Description: The Bernalillo Community Development Department houses a vital document for those interested in identifying structures that remain from the original 1926-37 Bernalillo segment of Route 66, or in assembling data regarding present-day buildings on the highway for comparative or other purposes. When completed, the Mainstreet District Baseline Property Survey, comprising photographs, descriptive material, historical notes, and plat maps, will cover all of the Bernalillo Route 66 segment.
