Description: Building and Planning of Route 66, Early Route 66; much of the library’s pertinent holdings on the history of Route 66 may now be housed at the National Transportation Library or the National Archives and Records Administration. Although the FHWA Research Library exists primarily for the use of Highway Administration employees, arrangements for interlibrary loans of materials may possibly be arranged through your local library agency.
